Replacing Dove Women's Products with Men's

Hi, Dove fans! Something that has come to my mind recently is the use of men’s products instead of women’s. I know this may sound strange to some, yet it may be something others have been doing too. When thinking about the differences between men’s and women’s skincare products, the main factors are scent, color, and title. Men wouldn’t typically buy a pink bottle of women’s shampoo with a floral scent, and some women wouldn’t think of buying a dark bottle of men’s shampoo that smells like cologne. With some products, it may be worth buying masculine packaging.

I’ll just say that I am a woman who uses men’s razors. They don’t come with a scent, so I don’t have to worry about smelling like a man, I generally get a good amount or value for a reasonable price, and the quality is much better than of women’s razors! Although Dove does not yet sell razors, the brand does have men’s shaving cream. Now, the good thing about men’s skincare items, like shaving cream, is that it comes with more than one thing. For example, Dove men’s shaving gel has hydrating and moisturizing benefits with the gel. I have used the shaving gel, instead of buying women’s, and I believe the gel moisturizes better and feels better than the feminine shaving products I used to buy - plus the Dove men’s shaving gel leaves a wonderful cooling feeling.

Overall, it really doesn’t matter if you buy men’s shaving products instead of women’s, but in the end, it may save money and be a real game changer. So far, Dove only has shaving gel for men, which gives you and even better excuse to use it! It’s your move.
