Hey there, little birdies! Kay here, and I’m here to talk about something that may stoke some of you as a little... odd. I want to talk about one of Dove’s most underrated products. Now, you’re probably thinking, “seriously, Kay? I love Dove, you love Dove— there’s nothing you can mention that we don’t already know about,” but you might want to hold that thought. You see, for once, I don’t want to talk about Dove’s lathering body soaps, luxurious moisturizers, or incredibly reliable and effective deodorants. I want to talk about baby wipes. Okay, I know it sounds weird, but before you exit your browser or switch apps on your phone, hear me out! Baby wipes are one of my go-to products, and can be used for far more than just, well, babies. I literally always have some handy; in my backpack during class, in my purse at the bar, in my desk at work, and even in my car when I’m on the go. In fact, writing this article is going to be a bit of a challenge because, honestly, what CAN’T baby wipes be used for? I would be remised not to share my all-knowing baby wipe knowledge with you. So, my dears, here are BLANK uses for baby wipes, and my favorite Dove baby wipes products of all time. 1. Makeup remover. Now, this one might seem a little obvious, but I had to mention it. I was one of those people that spent buckets monthly on Neutrogena makeup remover wipes, and since I’ve made the switch, I have been loving life. And so has my bank account. Not only has using Dove’s products not cost me an arm and a leg, but it’s also so much gentler on my skin, all while removing my makeup flawlessly with only one wipe!

2. Instant stain-remover. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Tide Stick, I do. But I’m a nanny, and having Tide Sticks around small children doesn’t sound like the greatest combination. However, my kids, like most, do tend to make messes during play time, and I have to be ready to clean up whatever comes my way. Having Dove baby wipes on hand is so convenient when Mia and Owen have pesky marker, pen, and paint stains on their clothes and carpet, and gentle enough to clean off their hands and face as well! These wipes have saved my from having to explain a colorful disaster to their parents on more than one occasion...

3. Toilet paper substitute. Baby wipes aren’t just for cute little baby bottoms, you know. Dove’s wipes are gentle and non-toxic enough to be used on our adult tooshies as well. If you’re ever out of toilet paper or just could use the extra clean-up, seriously consider using baby wipes. And, hey, this may be TMI, but if you add just a little aloe Vera, they make great DIY hemmeroid wipes as well.

4. All-in-one car cleaner. When I say that I keep a separate pack in my car, I mean it. These wipes are a lifesaver when I spill my coffee when I’m in a rush in the morning, when that stupid bird poops on my window at the most inconvenient of times, and for when I just wanna give the interior of my car a little clean and sparkle! Baby wipes in general are super underrated cleaning supplies, and Dove’s take the cake for being super gentle and smelling incredible.

5. Deodorant eraser. Okay, be honest, you’ve totally been there: slipping on the dark t-shirt or shimmying into the black dress. You think you look incredible and you’re all ready to go until you realize that you have white deodorant marks all on the sit of your outfit. Usually, you might for for a wet paper towel, but that hardly does the trick, all while leaving paper particles and awkward wet spots all over you. Well, my friends, that’s when you can turn to baby wipes; it does the job, all while leaving virtually not residue.

6. Great for pets. No babies? Well, that’s okay. Most of us have fur babies these days, anyway, and baby wipes are incredible at keeping them clean. Sometimes pets get into things they’re not supposed to— they make a mess and need a little help freshening up. I understand, though, that getting them to take a full bath can be a little difficult at times. That’s where baby wipes come in; if your pet has gotten into something that they shouldn’t have, use a baby wipe to clean the gunk off of their fur! The wipes are also great for tidying up paws after walks and playtime in the park. No more mess for Spot, huh?

7. Shoe cleaner. Okay, I bought the cutest leather ankle booties last year, and there’s no way in HELL that they would’ve lasted this long, looking so great if it weren’t for baby wipes. They give leather a great clean and shine without wear and tear, and if you’re looking for a way to make your white shoes look brand new, look no further. See, guys?! Baby wipes are God’s product. They have so many more uses that’s just the ones that I listed, and if you’re nice, I might post more some day. ;) In the mean time, here’s a little more information about Dove’s baby wipes because I know you’re all just about dying to grab a pack (or six).

Dove Rich Moisture Hand and Face Wipes These are Dove’s classic baby wipes. They’re gentle, non-alcoholic, and hypoallergenic, so using them on your face, body, or your baby/pet’s face or body is a-okay!

Dove Sensitive Moisture Hand and Face Wipes Alright, these are my absolute FAVE. I use these ones, especially on my own body because I have super sensitive skin. These bad boys have all of the same qualities as the original except with aloe. They are LITERALLY as gentle as water and are even approved to be gentle enough for eczema-prone skin! I definitely recommend these. Alright, lovebugs, that’s all for now. I hope that you now see the light and are ready to change your non-baby-wipe way of living. ;) If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you are more hen encouraged to leave a comment on this post! I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Stay rad and stay bad, birdies. For the Love of Dove, Kay
